VISIT TO 17 SCHOOLS AND CONTACT WITH ABOUT 900 STUDENTS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH OF PORTUGAL
From October 19th to November 16th, the Portuguese Human Resources team accompanied the Fórum Turismo team during the Roadshow “Faz match para o sucesso”: An itinerant roadshow through the country’s Higher Education Institutions with courses in the area of Tourism and Hospitality, which in addition to a recreational component, which in the coming months will elect the TOP 10 Tourism Students in Portugal, through overcoming some challenges that will be launched over the months, its main objective was to address topics with an impact on the personal and professional development of students, such as international experiences, volunteering, internships, seeking to help hospitality students start their professional lives in the sector.
This challenge to elect the TOP 10 Tourism Students in Portugal began with the Quizz about the Minor Hotels Group, which resulted in the first 136 winners, out of a universe of 900 students. At the end of the challenges, the TOP 10 will be determined.
Forum Tourism’s mission is to create bridges and consolidate relationships between different stakeholders in the hotel sector, companies, students and candidates) through the creation of initiatives linked to training, networking and employability.
