Do you accept foreign employees in your hotels?

Yes, as long as they meet the current legal requirements.

Do you integrate/accept employees from vulnerable social groups or with some limitations?

Yes, we are an inclusive group and we recruit individuals with certain physical and/or intellectual limitations, assigning roles adapted to their condition.

What work arrangements do you accept in your group?

In-person, Remote, and Hybrid, part-time and full-time, depending on the role.

Is knowledge of languages mandatory, and if so, which ones?

If the position you are applying for in the accommodation area involves direct contact with clients, it is important to have a mastery of the English language and knowledge of Portuguese (not being an excluding factor).
Knowledge of other languages will be valued (French, German, Spanish, etc).

Which brands in Portugal have a luxury positioning?

The premium brand of Minor Hotels is Anantara. We also have some Tivoli Hotels & Resorts properties featured in the Leading Hotels of the World, including Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa Hotels. The Tivoli Carvoeiro Algarve Resort and Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort are in the 5-star category and offer benchmark service in the markets/regions where they are located.

Do employees at Minor Hotels receive free accommodation?

The Algarve hotels may provide accommodation subject to availability.

Do you provide uniforms to employees and ensure their maintenance and cleanliness?

Yes, we provide uniforms to all our employees and ensure their cleanliness through the hotel’s laundry services.

Do you have a cafeteria in your hotels or do you provide a food allowance?

Yes, most of our hotels have a cafeteria for employees, where they can have all their meals during their working days for free. In the case of Central Services or hotels without a cafeteria, a meal allowance is provided on a COVERFLEX card.

Is it possible to provide occasional services (such as extra staff) at your hotels?

Yes, but you should contact our partner temporary employment agencies. Hiring of extras is done through them.

Can any employee apply for Development Programs to grow within the group?

Yes, however, each development program has selection criteria that candidates must meet.

What is a TASK FORCE?

A Task Force means providing support to a hotel that needs reinforcements for a limited period of time. Task Forces are occasionally opened at hotels around the world during peak occupancy or hotel openings. These Task Forces are announced to employees, and they can voluntarily apply. During this period, they will be released from their duties at their hotel, and when the Task Force is completed, they return to their regular positions. These are moments of sharing and acquiring multicultural knowledge.

What kind of internships do you accept in your group, and how can I apply for an internship?

We accept all types of internships, including curricular, extracurricular, and professional internships.

Do you provide an internship stipend and accommodation to interns? Do you offer any additional benefits?

Yes, we provide an internship stipend based on budget availability, and accommodation is available in Algarve hotels (subject to availability). We also offer various benefits to the interns we host in our hotels.
