Because we believe that we all have a place and an active role in society, we joined the ERASMUS + International Program, promoted by the Valuable Network*, a European network of socially responsible companies in hospitality, which promotes the inclusion of young people with Down Syndrome in the hospitality market work.
From April 24th, and for a period of three weeks, we will welcome 4 interns from the Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome in two of our hotels in the Algarve, Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort and Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort.
During this period, these four interns will perform the functions of Kitchen Assistant and Pool Butler, always accompanied by a tutor from the institution and a tutor from the hotel, who will ensure that everything goes perfectly and that they feel accompanied and integrated.
Portugal is the third Minor Hotels country to join this program, after Italy and Spain already have 7 participating hotels.
