Hospitality Education Awards, are an initiative of the Forum Turismo Association, together with Turismo de Portugal, the National Association of Professional Schools (ANESPO), the Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP) and the Network of Public Higher Education Institutions with Courses in the area of Tourism (RIPTUR) in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (WTO). These awards aim to recognize, reward and distinguish professionals, projects and companies in the area of Hospitality and Tourism (in 8 different categories) that have a positive impact on the sector and on the dignification of professionals and their respective professions, responding to market needs.
About the Best StakeHolder award
Recognizes the stakeholder, from the private or public sector, with the best performance in supporting tourism training, who demonstrates the continued commitment to the training and professionalization of young people in the Hospitality and Tourism sector in Portugal.
The reception of the award and representation of the Minor Hotel Group during the ceremony, which took place on the 19th of September, at the Museu do Oriente in Lisbon, was in charge of Hugo Gonçalves, General Manager, and André Pescada, Human Resources Manager, both from Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Algarve Resort.
